The exam, before anything else

Find the cause. Build the right plan

Dr. McDonald is a fully licensed physician, residency trained in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Where it hurts and what is causing it are often two different places; the exam is how he finds the difference, before any treatment starts.

If you are anxious or have had bad experiences with manual treatments in the past, you are in great hands.

How care works

  1. You talk, he listens

It starts with your story: what hurts, when it started, and what you have already tried.

  2. A hands-on exam

Diagnosis by anatomical landmarks, motion testing joint by joint, and a careful feel of the muscle and tendon around the painful area.

  3. Treatment, and a plan

Careful manual techniques matched to you, aimed at restoring motion and easing pain, and a plain answer on what he found and what comes next.

First visits run 40 minutes, follow-ups 20.
